1. Who we are

Minerly ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at minerly.app, which provides AI-powered analysis of Apple App Store reviews. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

When you use Minerly we collect:

• Account data: email address, display name, and profile photo from your sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or email/password).
• Subscription data: tier, billing status, last four digits of your card, and renewal/cancellation dates. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
• Usage data: analyses you run, apps you track, keywords you save, projects you create, and shared-analysis links you generate.
• Diagnostic data: anonymous analytics (page views, button clicks) used to improve the product.

We do not collect App Store reviews about you — we only read publicly available reviews of apps you choose to analyze.

3. How we use your information

• Provide and operate the Minerly product.
• Bill you for paid plans and detect billing issues.
• Improve the product through aggregated analytics.
• Respond to support requests and notify you of important changes.

4. Third-party services

We share the minimum necessary data with these processors:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, serverless functions, hosting. (privacy)
• Anthropic — AI analysis of the public App Store reviews you submit. Anthropic does not train models on this API traffic. (privacy)
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing, subscription management, and invoice storage. (privacy)
• Apple iTunes — public RSS feeds and search endpoints. We never send your personal data to Apple.
• Google Analytics — anonymized product analytics. You can opt out via browser-level tracking protections.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Analyses, tracked keywords, and projects are retained until you delete them or close your account. Webhook and audit logs are retained for up to 12 months for fraud and abuse protection.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your account and associated data (Settings → Delete Account, or email us).
• Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies and analytics.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Security

We use TLS for all traffic, Firebase security rules to restrict data access, server-side webhook signature verification for payments, and Google Cloud Secret Manager for sensitive credentials. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

Minerly is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post any material changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Minerly after the change means you accept the revised policy.
